Health Matters is a news style production sponsored by a hospital, and airs on one of the local newscasts such as NBC local news. Its primary focus is promoting the hospital's physicians, patient success stories and services lines. This segment gives the community a positive image of the sponsoring health system, and establishes them as the leader and go-to medical system in the area. It also provides fresh video content for the hospital's HTV network, web sites and social media. A full-time crew is dedicated to producing the segments hand-in-hand with the health system's marketing department.
